02

Community

Give parents a voice and bring families into school life. Keep the Board's communication open and transparent, and strengthen cooperation with our sending school districts.

03

Future

Board Member · 3 years

Jaime Johnson

Candidate for Montague Township Board of Education

I'm asking for your vote to continue serving on the Montague Board of Education. Montague has been my hometown for over 22 years.

I'm a graduate of Montague Elementary, Port Jervis Middle School, and Sussex County Technical School, and I'm now a proud homeowner here.

As a Patient Access Representative at our local hospital, I spend my days helping people of all ages. I'm honored to bring that same care to our students as a board member.

Why I'm qualified

  • I am currently a Board Member and have served for the past three years.
  • As a Montague taxpayer, I want our tax dollars to work for students and schools.
  • I research proposals thoroughly before voting.
  • I actively attend board meetings, both virtual and in person.
  • I believe the choices we make today shape our children's future.

My priorities for the next term

  1. Strengthen the Special Education Program
  2. Involve students and parents more in school life
  3. Keep property taxes down without cutting student programs
  4. Find cost-effective, nutritious breakfast and lunch options
  5. Give parents a voice
  6. Support our Superintendent in doing what's best for our students
  7. Keep our schools safe and secure

I'd be honored to continue being a voice for our children, parents, and all citizens of Montague.

Andree Campbell

Candidate for Montague Township Board of Education

I am asking for your support for a three-year term on the Montague Township Board of Education. I am a 42-year resident and a retired employee of the State of New Jersey Judiciary.

I have served on the Board of Education for a total of four years, including two years as Board President.

Montague Elementary School has seen positive changes this past year. As we move forward, I believe we must communicate better, listen more, and keep our students at the center of every decision.

When my own children attended Montague Elementary, there was a true feeling of family. Teachers knew their students and stayed in touch with parents. That hometown feeling is worth protecting for future generations.

Why I am qualified

  • A career in the State Judiciary built my skills in supervision, research, organization, and problem-solving.
  • I have volunteered with the Montague Baseball League, the PTA, and St. James Church, where I taught CCD.
  • I have a strong attendance record at Board meetings and a thorough understanding of Board responsibilities.

My commitment to Montague

If re-elected, I will:

  1. Protect our students and their educational opportunities.
  2. Be a responsible steward of your tax dollars, working to minimize property tax increases without sacrificing important programs.
  3. Maintain a balanced, fiscally responsible budget.
  4. Keep the Board's communication with the community open and transparent.
  5. Strengthen cooperation with our sending school districts.

I would be honored to have your vote on November 3, 2026. Thank you for your support.
